Playgroup to 1
At Bal Jagat English Boarding School, we understand that the early years of a child’s life are the most important for learning and growth. That’s why our Playgroup to Grade 1 program is designed to be fun, caring, and educational. In Playgroup and Nursery, children learn basic things like recognizing letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. They also sing songs, listen to stories, draw, and play games that help them grow socially and emotionally. In LKG and UKG, we help children get ready for reading and writing. They start learning simple words, counting, and how to express themselves confidently. In Grade 1, children begin more structured learning in subjects like English, Nepali, Math, and Science, along with moral education, art, music, dance, and games. Our classrooms are bright and spacious, and our friendly teachers make sure every child feels safe, happy, and excited to learn. We aim to build a strong foundation so that our little learners grow into confident and capable students.
Class 2 to 7
At Bal Jagat English Boarding School, the academic program from Class 2 to Class 7 focuses on building a strong foundation in all key subject areas while encouraging creativity, discipline, and curiosity. During these formative years, students are gradually introduced to deeper concepts in English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. In addition to the core subjects, we also offer Computer Science, Moral Education, Health & Physical Education, and Extra-Curricular Activities such as art, dance, music, and public speaking. Our teaching methods are student-friendly and interactive, using activities, visual aids, and group work to make learning enjoyable and effective. Regular class tests, assignments, and project work help assess the progress of each child, while teachers provide individual attention and support wherever needed. We also promote reading habits, logical thinking, and communication skills to prepare students for higher classes. Class 8 to 10
At Bal Jagat English Boarding School, the academic program for Class 8 to 10 is designed to prepare students for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) and future academic and career challenges. These classes focus on in-depth subject knowledge, critical thinking, discipline, and exam readiness. Students study core subjects including English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Health, Population & Environment (HPE). They also choose from optional subjects such as Optional Mathematics, Computer Science, Accountancy, or EPH, depending on their interests and future goals.
