1.Students must present in the school before the assembly bell. Punctuality is the first step of discipline. Habitual late-comers will be strictly dealt with.
2. Students must come to school in neat and tidy uniform as prescribed by the school. Girls are not allowed to put on ornaments, kajal, mehandi or any cosmetic make-up. They will have long hair enough to tie two plaits with ribbons. Boys will have crew-cut hair.
3. Students must not remain absent from school without any reason. Parents/ Guardians are earnestly requested to see that their children attend school punctually and regularly. In case of absence for any unavoidable circumstances, the reason of absence must be explained in a letter within three days by the parents or guardians.
4. Irregular attendance and habitual idleness are sufficient reasons to cause a child in great inconvenience. It is known fact that a student cannot progress without regular teaching and learning. Therefore, 95% attendance is must.
5. Students are advised not to bring valuable things to school. They are not permitted to bring any objects which may be harmful to others. The school will not hold responsibility for any claim of lost goods on the school premises. Students are responsible for the safe custody of their books and other belongings. Personal properties must bear the names of owners.
6. In case of any damage done to school property or any other's belonging knowingly or unknowingly, it has to be remedied at the cost of the offender.
7. Unauthorized books or unnecessary documents such as comics, pictures, periodicals, magazines, newspapers etc. and mobile phones are strictly prohibited to bring to school or circulate among the students without the permission of the school authority. Students must bring text and exercise books to school according to the routine.
8. To develop toiling habits in students, besides P.T. drill and physical exercise, they have to perform physical work or extra duties as they may be allotted from time to time as a part of their normal education.
9. No recommendation or request for the promotion of weak in examination will be entertained in any case. The continuity of the promotion of weak student in forthcoming session will depend on the decision of school.
10.Shree Bal Jagat English Boarding School is an English medium school. The school language is English. So, except Nepali period, teachers and students are not allowed to speak any other language than English during school hours in the school premises.
11.Despite warnings, if anyone violates the rules and regulations of the school and shows the same behavior again and again, the student will be expelled from school at anytime of the session.
12. The detail of activities of student outside school has to be made available to school at the time when the school requests.
13. If it is ascertained about any student regarding any illegal or unlawful activities outside the school, the related student will be expelled from the school.
14. Using shaving blades to sharpen pencils is strictly forbidden. Every students from class 1 upwards must bring his/her own pen, ruler, pencil, eraser and pencil sharpener.
15. The school has applied all necessary safety measures to avoid possible accidents. However, the school holds no responsibility about any severe injury of student because of carelessness either on school premises or outside while coming to school or returning home. The parents/Guardians themselves have to take care about them and bear the cost of their treatment.
Apart from the above rules and regulations other rules, if any, will be in accordance with the school.
